BAFE is the independent registration body for third-party certificated fire safety organisations across the UK. The QA Group work with you to ensure the assessment criteria are met in an efficient and uncomplicated manor
There are number of Fire competency schemes covered by BAFE, including:

- Fire Risk Assessment (BAFE competency scheme no. SP205).
- Non-Domestic fire detection and fire alarm system design, installation, commissioning and maintenance (BAFE competency scheme no. SP203-1).
- Fire extinguisher maintenance/servicing (BAFE competency scheme no. SP101).
- Emergency lighting system design, installation, commissioning and maintenance (BAFE competency scheme no. SP203-4).
- Fixed gaseous fire extinguishing system design, installation, commissioning and maintenance (BAFE competency scheme no. SP203-3).
- Kitchen fire protection system (kitchen suppression/extinguishing systems) design, installation, commissioning, recharge and maintenance (BAFE competency scheme no. SP206).
- Dry and wet riser/falling installations service and maintenance (BAFE competency scheme no. SP105).
- Evacuation alert system design, installation, commissioning and maintenance (BAFE competency scheme no. SP207).
- Domestic Grade D fire detection and fire alarm system design, installation, commissioning and maintenance (BAFE competency scheme no. DS301).
Once your application has been approved you will be audited by one of BAFE’s approved certification bodies. following this you will be registered with BAFE and entered into the Red Book thus giving consumers confidence in your competence and service delivery.
